14islands is a creative technology studio looking for an experienced React Native developer to help build a VIP travel itinerary platform for a major luxury brand. This is a polished, client-facing mobile app that will be used by individuals attending exclusive events.
We're a small, design-driven team that cares deeply about craft. The app needs to feel as premium as the brand it represents — smooth animations, elegant transitions, and pixel-perfect attention to detail.
What we're looking for:
Must-haves:
- 2+ production React Native apps shipped
- Strong TypeScript skills
- Portfolio demonstrating polished, design-forward UI work
- Available to start in February/March 2026
- Able to overlap with European timezone working hours (CET/CEST)
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with luxury, premium, or lifestyle brands
- Animation and micro-interaction skills (Reanimated, Lottie, Moti)
- Experience with Expo or bare React Native workflows
