Position SummaryThe Ready Mix Instructor positions reports to the Plant Manager and will be in a role of secondary supervision. Primary functions are to coordinate Ready Mix driver training and assist with safe and timely Ready Mix deliveries. Requirements
  • Demonstrates a good working knowledge of Martin Marietta/Ready Mix Rules and Regulations and assures facility compliance with OSHA, DOT, TxDOT, TNRCC, EPA and other regulatory agencies
  • Trains new/existing employees to operate a Ready Mix truck safely and efficiently adhering to The Department of Transportation (DOT) and Martin Marietta rules and regulations
  • Exercises good judgment in identifying and evaluating all Ready Mix operators
  • Develops curriculum required for driver training
  • Selects driver mentors to assist with training
  • Ability to evaluate drivers and personalize training to meet drivers needs
