International Am Law Firm is seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to join the Seattle office. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced real estate paralegal looking to broaden their experience and knowledge in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
Conducting comprehensive UCC lien searches and accurately interpreting the results. Preparing and reviewing real estate documents such as purchase agreements, lease agreements, deeds, and closing statements. Assisting attorneys in the preparation for and closing of real estate transactions. Conducting legal research and drafting legal memorandums, correspondence, and pleadings. Maintaining organized and up-to-date case files. Coordinating with clients, title companies, opposing counsel, and courts as necessary. Keeping track of deadlines and ensuring all paperwork is correctly filed and delivered on time. Providing administrative support to attorneys as needed, including scheduling meetings and managing correspondence.Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Real Estate Paralegal or in a similar role. Proficiency in conducting UCC lien searches is mandatory. A paralegal certification from an ABA-approved program is preferred. Extensive knowledge of real estate law and legal procedures. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong research and report-generating skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
