Part Time Position Part Time Position- Minimum 24 hours per Week Rotating roster which will include weekend work Daily tasks and responsibilities:
Counts and checks merchandise against freight bill. Opens boxes and cartons with box knife to verify product and counts. Signs freight bill as the second receiver.Stacks bed-loaded merchandise or merchandise from damaged or unacceptable pallets onto Costco-approved pallets. Separates mixed item pallets for checking.Keys received goods into computer using radio frequency computer gun. Uses gun to order the printing of pallet tags and UPC stickers.Scans product with radio frequency gun to verify UPC and item. Notifies Receiving Manager of any mis-marked, damaged, or mis-shipped items. Re-labels bad UPC product.Wraps pallets of double-received goods with plastic wrap for transport to the floor or steel by Forklift Drivers. Creates and attaches pallet tags.
