Job Overview
Responsible for operating the main telephone console in a friendly and professional manner as well as greeting, recording, and directing employees and other visitors to the appropriate areas in the company, whilst obeying Security policies and procedures.
Essential Functions
• Receive visitors, notifying staff of their arrival and issuing visitors/security passes as required.
• Answer the switchboard in a professional manner, passing the calls through to the appropriate person.
• Book conference rooms and available offices for meetings.
• Book taxis and check invoices as required
• General management of the reception area and telephone console.
• Inform Security / Site or Regional Manager of problems relating to reception, building maintenance or security whilst adhering to security policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager.
