Job Description

**Responsibilities**:
- Supervises daily work for a medium size reconciliation unit of support staff performing related but more complex tasks (typically up to 25).
- Occasionally handles moderately complex and exceptional / unusual issues with broader departmental impact.
- Identifies areas for automation / process improvements and recommends new work procedures.
- Determines hiring to ensure adequate staffing.
- Applies good understanding of procedures and concepts within own area and a basic knowledge of how own area integrates with other areas.
- Evaluates subordinates' performance and makes recommendations for pay increases, hiring, terminations and other personnel actions.
- Ensures the quality of tasks provided by self and others on team.
- Impacts the team and closely related work teams by influencing decisions through advice or facilitating services; accountable for end results.
