RECREATION ASSISTANT LIFEGUARD OPERATIONS ASSISTANT

Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the 47th Force Support Squadron, located at Outdoor Recreation, Laughlin AFB, Del Rio, Texas. This position is Flexible, guaranteed a minimum of 0 hours but can work up to a maximum of 40 hours per week. May include nights, weekends and holidays. As a flexible employee, you are not eligible for leave or benefits. Responsibilities Under the supervision of the Outdoor Recreation (ODR) Manager, organizes, promotes and schedules swim meets, special events and daily activities to address differing needs of the base populace. Supplements lifeguards on stand in order to assist in rescue if needed, provide additional scanning of swim area, and to relieve guards for necessary breaks or rotations.
