Purpose of the position

The incumbent will:

  • Plans, promotes facilitates, and evaluates a variety of recreation and culture programs, events, services, and public education.
  • Provides peer support to other recreation programmers and mentors Activity Attendants in programming, facility operations and emergency situations. 
  • Prepares and organizes equipment and supplies for programming and events; set up and tear down activities, and enforces rules and conditions of use.
