Electrical and Instrumentation Technician needed for an LNG project in WA - Interstate Flights Paid form any major capital city 

  • Flights Paid From Any Major Capital City in Australia
  • 3:1 LNG Project in WA
  • Penalty Rates - $65.65 ph Penalty Rates 
  • Site Allowance $5.40ph
  • Travel Allowance $25.00 per day 
  • Paid for a full day on fly out day
  • 1 Flexible Paid RDO per swing

  
    The opportunity – Electrical and Instrumentation Technician

  • 3:1 FIFO roster
  • Interstate Flights Paid
  • All tools & PPE provided
  • Fly home on the morning of day 21, full day pay
  • Full-time, permanent employment with 4 weeks of annual leave and 10 days of personal leave
  • $175 per week project incentive payment (PIP)

  Skills - Experience required -

  • Previous LNG / Oil & Das experience is  ESSENTIAL 
  • Well-versed in LNG gas processing facilities, instrumentation calibration, gas and flame detection, and control systems
  • Point to point and Loop checks
  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical equipment in hazardous environments, especially those with explosive atmospheres (EEHA)
  • Installation of Instruments, tray, supports, posts, panels, and tubing
  • Ability to work in an oil & gas environment
  • Installation and fabrication of electrical components, including cable and substations 
  • Mining – LNG Construction projects - highly desirable

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar position, preferably within the construction industry for a minimum of 3 years 
  • WA Electricians License 
  • First Aid
  • CPR & LVR
  • Construction White Card
  • Gas Test Atmospheres preferred
  • Cert 3 or 4 instrumentation
  • Cert IV Hazardous Areas – EEHA – No Expiry date !
