Recycle Sorter
COMPENSATION: $15.00 Per Hour
LOCATION: Lansing, MI
SCHEDULE (MONDAY-FRIDAY, SOME WEEKENDS):
  • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
POSITION OVERVIEW: As a Recycling Sorter, you will be crucial in our recycling operations, responsible for preparing and sorting various materials for recycling. Your primary task will be to sort products from the conveyor line into appropriate collection areas.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Sort plastics, glass, tin, metal, and cardboard efficiently.
  • Inspect materials for contamination and remove non-recyclable items.
  • Operate sorting equipment and machinery safely.
  • Maintain the conveyor line and address issues promptly.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
