ActioNet has an opportunity for a Red Hat Linux Administrator requiring a SECRET clearance in Vienna, VA

The Red Hat Linux Administrator supports provides administration and support for Treasury’s Linux-based systems, focusing on disaster recovery and continuity of operations. Ensures Linux systems are secure, patched, and available to support mission requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers.- Implement disaster recovery and backup strategies.- Patch and update Linux systems in compliance with security baselines.- Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues.- Document system configurations and SOPs.- Support COOP exercises and failover testing.

Basic Qualifications (Required)

- Active Secret clearance (T-3).- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.- 5+ years of Red Hat Linux administration.- Knowledge of Linux security hardening (DISA STIGs).- Experience with shell scripting.

Preferred Qualifications

- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).- Experience with virtualization platforms.- Knowledge of Ansible automation.
