Description of role - Refuse and Recycling Operative

Working as part of a team for the collection of refuse and recyclable materials and transfer to disposal points. 

Duties and responsibilities - Refuse and Recycling Operative

• To carry out the instructions of the line manager in a safe, competent and proper manner.

• To collect refuse and recyclables from premises in the appropriate containers, boxes, wheelie bins, bags etc.  and community recycling centres.
