Job Summary:
Primary responsibilities include the utilization of highly skilled therapeutic and diagnostic techniques in the treatment of patients of all ages in all care settings.
Essential Job Duties:
Performs and analyzes arterial and capillary sticks on infants and pediatric patients as applicable.Performs and interprets pulse oximetry, capnography and transcutaneous monitoring measurements.Serves as a consultant to physicians and department staff on matters of respiratory care. Evaluates the patients care plan upon request of a physician or other department personnel and makes recommendations for changes as appropriate.May be called upon to act in the absence of the supervisor as applicable.Completes other duties and special projects as assigned.Performs airway management techniques, including tracheostomy tube changes and elective intubation upon request of a physician if applicable.Provides...
