Regional Commodity Manager

Job Description

Commodity Management:

• Align and deploy purchasing strategy within the Division/Region in compliance with division

stakeholders (engineering, industrial...) needs

• In consistency with Global Commodity Director guidelines develop a thorough Regional market

knowledge and market intelligence

• Share market knowledge and intelligence information with BG and Lead Commodity Directors

• Contribute to commodity strategy

• Negotiate regional agreements with the main suppliers of assigned commodities in coordination

with BG GCD

• Responsible for the quality, cost, cash and delivery performance of the suppliers of his/her

commodity at regional level

• Plan resourcing activities for budget and provide Make or Buy guidance

• Carry out regional scouting and supplier integration activities
