The Role
This position oversees a team of Housing Officers across several Brisbane sites, ensuring consistent service standards, safe practices and strong community outcomes. Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading, coaching and supporting a team of housing staff across multiple locations
  • Implementing consistent processes and service expectations
  • Supporting team members with complex tenant issues and operational decisions
  • Providing reporting, insights and on the ground feedback to senior leadership
  • Driving a positive team culture and professional development
  • Ensuring compliance with organisational policies and sector standards
  • About You
    You will bring people leadership experience in housing or a similar community based environment. The ideal candidate offers:
  • Experience supervising frontline staff in housing, homelessness, community services or similar
  • Strong capability in supporting staff with complex client matters
  • Confidence creating structure, consistency and clear expectations
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills
  • A collaborative, values driven approach
  • SCHADS Level 5 background or above, with potential for Level 6 for the right fit
