About the role:
The Regional Manager is entrusted with the strategic leadership and operational oversight of their designated state/areas’ stores. This pivotal role involves orchestrating and optimising all facets of business operations within their region, ensuring alignment with organisational goals. The Regional Manager is tasked with driving performance, fostering collaboration among teams, and implementing key initiatives to achieve sustained growth and profitability. Additionally, the Regional Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, identifying market trends, and providing insightful recommendations to contribute to the overall success of the organisation.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Advocate for and support the implementation of CVG business plans, strategies, and initiatives.
- Actively participate at the senior level of the CVG Leadership Team, contributing to decision‑making and strategic direction.
- Monitor and support store compliance to all Bapcor safety protocols, regulations, and company policies.
- Establish and cultivate a robust network to enhance business connections.
- Engage and grow relationships with internal stakeholders to leverage delivery of objectives and targets.
- Manage regional and store budgets, prioritising margin and profitability.
- Develop & maintain data that identifies spending patterns, account trends and identify opportunities for sales growth.
- Coach Store Managers to enhance their effectiveness, guiding them to make business and profitability‑oriented decisions.
About You
You are a seasoned leader with a proven track record in management and operational excellence, ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role.
Ideal Candidate Attributes:
- Qualification in business or a related field or 5+ years of management / leadership experience in a relevant industry.
- Proficiency in intermediate Excel.
- Outstanding communication skills, including confidence in public speaking and delivering presentations.
- Established network and proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships internally and externally, spanning various business and customer levels, with an understanding of their needs.
- Customer-focused with strong engagement skills.
