nPosition Objective:
To develop and manage the overall company business for the area to ensure the financial targets are met in terms of orders and revenue To provide professional support service to our customers; to provide a challenging environment for the growth, development and advancement of our people whilst making a strong contribution to the requirements of the area.
nMajor Areas of Responsibility:
Financial management
§Achieving the financial budgets (revenue)
Strategic direction setting
§Developing and executing strategies according to critical mass, business environment and status of the country, capabilities and resources of the organization
§Develop countrywide insights of market, competition, legal environment and government officials.
§Increase market share in our existing business in line with corporate objectives
Sales leadership
§Drive sales pipeline progression and allocating resources to the right opportunities aligned with national agenda of industry focus. Optimize routes to market execution.
§Demonstrate the role model of sales eminence and customer focus while leverage experiences and resources of RBUs to replicate successful business practices. Carry out successful local daily operation.
§Manage and maintain relationships with existing key accounts and strategic partners for business development, as well as create new business with potential customers and partners.
§Establish and nurture relationship with C-levels of channels or business required external partners/stakeholders
Organization and people development
§Build organization and cultivate diversified multi-Culture
§Drive for transformation and build a competent organization to meet the challenge for long-term in a competitive world
§Build sustainable people pipeline and nurture strong team with very little politics.
§To recruit and keep the best people, and to effectively train, develop, compensate and manage our people so that as a highly motivated team they can produce maximum results.
Qualifications
§Minimum Job Requirement:
Must have
§Fluent in English and Japanese.
§Preferably a Master Degree in Business from a recognized university.
§10 years of management experience with increased responsibility in a multi-function environment preferred with a high technology company or global organization.
§Ability to work in a global team and able to experience different cultures and to expand the horizon of leadership or technical skills
§Channel sales, or BDM experience with Sales experience for managing team size of over 5 people that continuously over-achieving sales target for at least 5 years in Japan
§Good track record of attracting and developing high caliber individuals
§Good track record of leadership skills
§Demonstration of strategic visionary leadership and perspective
§Embedded with entrepreneurial spirit
§Ability to establish and nurture relationship with C-levels of channels & leverage those relationships for business
Nice to have
§Exposure and experience in Global company operations and planning process
§Experience of leading a product marketing team
§Experience of running local office operations
