Regional Sales Manager - Canada
Company: Riedel Communications , founded in 1987, designs, manufactures and distributes innovative real‑time networks for IP, Video, Audio and Communications. Their products are used worldwide for broadcast, pro‑audio, event, sports, theatre and security applications.
Location: Remote, based in Eastern Canada (preferably Toronto or Montreal). The role reports directly to the Senior Vice President Sales.
Role Overview
- Develop and maintain client relationships continuously.
- Drive sales and capture market share, tracking sales quota and meeting territory sales targets.
- Analyze market trends and gather competitive intelligence to enhance sales growth and future product potential.
- Represent Riedel’s vision and present at regional trade shows.
- Manage daily database maintenance in the company’s data‑base management program.
- Coordinate product demonstrations, evaluations, and proof‑of‑concept demos with the technical service department.
- Provide sales and product education for resellers and conduct end‑user training sessions.
- Work with direct and channel fulfilment models based on customer preference.
- Implement and maintain a regional sales plan and conduct business reviews with customers and channel partners.
- Track sales pipeline and bookings against quota and key metrics.
- Leverage strategic relationships and partnerships to drive revenue.
- Manage key relationships, assess and validate customer needs continuously.
- Cross‑functional collaboration to coordinate support, service and management resources to meet customer expectations.
Candidate Profile
- Completed technical university studies (e.g., industrial engineering or business‑technology).
- Proven system‑sales experience in manufacturing or system integration.
- Strong understanding of Broadcast, Entertainment and other Riedel markets.
- Working knowledge of Riedel's technologies.
- Experience working with upscale venues, clients and channel partners.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, verbal and written.
- Effective field communication to sales management, marketing, sales operations and technical services.
- Proficiency in database management programs like Salesforce.
- Immediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and a sales management package.
- French as a second language is a plus.
