Position
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will hunt and develop new Managed Solutions and IoT opportunities through proactive new customer acquisition while enhancing existing customer relationships via account management and new project creation. Your focus will be on selling the value propositions of Digi Cellular Solutions to end-user accounts (typically Operations or IT Managers). To achieve success, you will develop and execute a regional sales plan that leverages various channel partners (distributors, value-added resellers, system integrators, and Carriers) to expand your sales influence and reach.
This exciting position is accountable for managing and growing revenue for our Cellular Router and Managed Solutions business in Canada. A high level of technical acumen in cellular networking technologies, including both SD-WAN and WWAN, will be critical to effectively articulate Digi’s value proposition and engage with technically sophisticated customers.
What You Will Do
- Execute daily new customer prospecting and development activities
- Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements; identify opportunities for additional value creation and build compelling value propositions based on Digi’s products, managed services, and solutions
- Drive regional growth through effective planning and timely execution to maximize output
- Meet or exceed assigned revenue, pipeline, and customer acquisition objectives
- Create and deliver impactful formal presentations to prospects and partners
- Conduct regular account and territory reviews to assess progress and uncover new opportunities
- Participate in regional and corporate trade shows, seminars, and industry events
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Digi’s cellular router/gateway portfolio , SD-WAN/WWAN applications, Managed Service Solution and target market use cases
- Stay informed on competitive products, programs, and industry trends; effectively position Digi’s advantages
- Maintain detailed and accurate account profiles, forecasts, and sales reports within Digi’s CRM
- Develop and implement targeted marketing and channel development plans to recruit and enable resellers, integrators, end users, and corporate partners
Who You Are and What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 10 years of successful sales experience , or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong technical understanding of cellular networking , including SD-WAN and WWAN solutions
- Managed services experience with a proven ability to position and sell value-added service offerings
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills with a talent for engaging customers at all organizational levels
- Highly organized with strong business acumen and consultative sales ability
- Fluency in English required; French language skills are an asset
- Background in the networking or telecommunications industry preferred
- Understanding of data communications concepts and two-tiered sales models
- Positive, proactive, and self‑motivated approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

The anticipated pay range for this position is $184,000 - $306,000 CAD, which includes base salary + commission target. Pay ranges are determined by role, job level and primary job location. The range displayed reflects the reasonable range we anticipate paying for this position and reflects the cost of labor within several U.S. geographic markets. The specific salary and commission offered within the range will depend on various factors including, but not limited to the candidate’s relevant and prior experience, education, skills, and primary work location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each position. Pay ranges are typically reviewed and updated annually.
