REGIONAL SALES MANAGER - KERALA

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Regional Sales Manager based in Kerala, responsible for driving sales of Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) solutions. The role focuses on lead generation, business development, and closing sales across residential, commercial, and industrial segments, with a strong emphasis on customer relationships and renewable energy solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will take ownership of real sales activities not just observe them. With support from the team, you'll:

  • Channel & Distribution Development: You'll build and manage a network of channel partners, dealers, EPC players, and distributors across Kerala.
  • Field Sales & Client Engagement: Actively visit potential clients and partners to promote our products, build visibility, and generate quality leads.
  • Own the Sales Cycle: From identifying prospects to closing deals (e.g., commercial rooftop projects, industrial energy storage solutions), you'll take charge of the entire sales process, including follow-ups and delivery coordination.
  • Customer-Centric Selling: Understand client needs and recommend the most suitable solar solutions while ensuring clear, confident product presentations.
  • Project Coordination: Work closely with EPC and internal teams to support seamless project execution and proactively address on-ground technical or logistical issues, ensuring client satisfaction and project success.
  • Reporting & Improvement: Maintain accurate CRM records, rigorously track sales activity, and provide valuable on-ground insights to directly influence and refine our distribution and sales strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in the solar with exposure to Energy Storage Systems (ESS/BESS) B2B sales
  • Strong technical and commercial understanding of rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems, including PV + storage and hybrid solutions
  • Proven track record in closing large-scale C&I and institutional projects, including turnkey EPC and long-term energy solutions
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership capabilities, with experience managing senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Well-established network across the Kerala renewable energy market, including clients, consultants, developers, and regulatory bodies
