What You'll Do
- Partner closely with the
Director of Sales and Account Executive
to achieve and exceed regional sales targets. - Own and deliver against an
annual new-business sales quota
for EBSCO Information Services products. - Proactively identify and qualify customer needs, prepare quotes and pricing, and coordinate product trials when appropriate.
- Build strong relationships through
regular face-to-face engagement
—averaging at least
40 in-person customer or prospect visits per month
. - Develop and execute a
territory and sales strategy
to grow pipeline and close opportunities. - Become a
subject-matter expert
in EBSCO products and the competitive landscape. - Gather and share market insights to support
product development and marketing initiatives
. - Travel approximately
50% of the time
, including conferences, customer visits, and sales meetings.
