What You'll Do

  • Partner closely with the
    Director of Sales and Account Executive
    to achieve and exceed regional sales targets.
  • Own and deliver against an
    annual new-business sales quota
    for EBSCO Information Services products.
  • Proactively identify and qualify customer needs, prepare quotes and pricing, and coordinate product trials when appropriate.
  • Build strong relationships through
    regular face-to-face engagement
    —averaging at least
    40 in-person customer or prospect visits per month
    .
  • Develop and execute a
    territory and sales strategy
    to grow pipeline and close opportunities.
  • Become a
    subject-matter expert
    in EBSCO products and the competitive landscape.
  • Gather and share market insights to support
    product development and marketing initiatives
    .
  • Travel approximately
    50% of the time
    , including conferences, customer visits, and sales meetings.
