The Opportunity

Regional Sales Manager - Value Solutions at ApplyBoard plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth within their designated market. This position requires a dynamic leader who can effectively leverage B2B networks to promote and sell all VAS offerings, including Test Vouchers, GIC, Loans, Forex, and more. The ideal candidate will possess a product-led mindset, embrace technology-first approaches, and develop innovative go-to-market strategies that align with ApplyBoard’s mission.


What you'll be doing every day:


1. Revenue Generation:

  • Meet and exceed assigned revenue targets for the region by identifying and securing new business opportunities within the B2B network.

  • Foster relationships with potential and existing customers to drive sales and enhance retention.


  • 2. Go-to-Market Strategy Development:

  • Design and implement effective go-to-market strategies tailored to the specific needs and dynamics of the region.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align promotional activities, product focus, pricing strategies, and sales objectives with ApplyBoard’s overall business goals.


  • 3. Customer Engagement:

  • Activate new customers for product adoption and revenue generation

  • Engage proactively with customers, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and responsiveness to their needs.

  • Achieve and exceed customer engagement scores through exceptional service and relationship management.


  • 4. Product Adoption and Cross-Selling:

  • Work closely with the product team to enhance product offerings, gather customer feedback, and improve product adoption within the region.

  • Develop and execute strategies for cross-selling to existing customers, maximizing revenue potential.


  • 5. Collaboration and Technology Adoption:

  • Utilize technology platforms and CRM systems to streamline processes, track sales performance, and enhance customer interactions.

  • Foster collaboration between the sales team, marketing department, and core business sales teams to ensure integrated efforts in reaching target markets.


  • 6. Performance Analysis:

  • Monitor and analyze sales metrics to assess performance, identify trends, and adapt strategies as necessary.

  • Prepare regular reports for senior management on sales achievements, market conditions, and competitive landscape.
     

  • What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; 

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment, ideally within the education or technology sectors.

  • Minimum of [3+] years of experience in sales management, with demonstrated expertise in regional or territory sales strategy.

  • Strong understanding of value-added services, with the ability to communicate their benefits effectively.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building long-term customer relationships.

  • Proficient in technology adoption and CRM tools; experience with data analysis techniques to enhance decision-making.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment and drive initiatives that promote sales growth and customer satisfaction.
