Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Washington, DC

A contract opportunity is available for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct support within a K-12 school setting in Washington, DC. This role involves implementing behavior intervention plans and supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities throughout the current school year (CSY).

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct Therapy Implementation: Execute behavior plans developed by a supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Skill Acquisition: Teach new skills related to social interaction, daily living, and communication, including requesting needs.
• Behavior Reduction: Apply Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to reduce unwanted behaviors such as tantrums and self-injury.
• Data Collection: Record client progress and behavior changes to assist the BCBA in evaluating plan effectiveness.
