Overview
The dietitian is accountable and responsible for the provision of nutritional care to hospital & its affiliates’ patients as established by the College of Dietitians of Ontario and the standards of nutritional care of the hospital. You will be given theopportunity to provide excellent care in an interdisciplinary team setting. Area of Primary Responsibility will be providing nutrition care in Stroke and responsibilities of assisting with other inpatient unit coverage as required. Primary area of assignment can be subject to change. Secondary coverage areas include the intensive care unit, General Internal Medicine, respirology, surgery, complex continuing care, and ambulatory care. All Dietitians are expected to act as clinical preceptors for Dietitian students & support staff onboarding/orientation. This role requires weekend availability.
Education
- University Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or recognized equivalent required.
