Registered Dietitian

Overview

The dietitian is accountable and responsible for the provision of nutritional care to hospital & its affiliates’ patients as established by the College of Dietitians of Ontario and the standards of nutritional care of the hospital. You will be given the opportunity to provide excellent care in an interdisciplinary team setting. Area of Primary Responsibility will be providing nutrition care in Complex Continuing Care including but not limited to Long-term Ventilation, palliative care, inpatient rehabilitation, inpatient geriatrics as well as the responsibilities of assisting with other inpatient unit coverage as required. This role will also include a day off-site at MGH’s transitional care unit. Primary area of assignment can be subject to change. Secondary coverage areas include the intensive care unit, stroke, respirology, medicine, surgery, and ambulatory care.
