Your Opportunity:
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and motivated registered nurse to join our team of nursing professionals at the Forzani & MacPhail Colon Cancer Screening Centre (CCSC). This position reports to the Manager/Delegate and is responsible for providing safe, effective, high quality nursing care at CCSC. The nurse will have an in-depth knowledge and expertise related to CCSC workflow and the patient population. A minimum current experience of 3-5 years working at CCSC is preferred. Duties include assisting the physician with scoping procedures, administering procedural sedation, providing both pre and post procedure care for patients undergoing colonoscopy, leading both group and individual patient education classes, conducting individual screening medical histories and assessments, and other duties as required.
