Alberta Children’s Hospital is a vibrant workplace with staff providing service to children and families in inpatient units & ambulatory clinics. As a member of the Neurosciences team, the Registered Nurse (RN) uses specialized knowledge and skills in providing nursing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN consults and collaborates with other team members to deliver the best possible patient & family-centred care and participates in ongoing patient safety and quality improvement initiatives across the program. An understanding and application of chronic disease management principles is an important component when working in the Neuroscience program, as is a solid background and knowledge level related to infant/child development.
