The Public Health Nurse (PHN) is a member of the Edmonton Zone Public Health (PH) team that provides integrated, strength based, family centered public healthcare services. Your PHN opportunity is in the Healthy Young Families program and includes all services offered in the Well Child Clinic and Healthy Beginnings program. Using the nursing process, you deliver PH services to individuals, groups, and communities including antenatal/prenatal care; routine postnatal care, health assessment, counseling, screening, immunization; follow-up and referral, linkage, advocacy, consultation, health promotion, and teaching as they relate to preschool and school-aged children, families, and adults.
