Qualifications and Skills
- A valid DHA certification (Mandatory skill) is required to be considered for this position.
- Comprehensive patient care coordination skills are essential for effective management of patient treatment plans.
- Experience in managing Electronic Health Records (EHR) to ensure accurate and updated patient information.
- Proficiency in medication administration, with attention to detail and an understanding of drug interactions and dosages.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) to respond swiftly and appropriately to emergency situations.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) skills for managing severe cardiac and respiratory emergencies.
- Expertise in wound care management including assessment, treatment, and monitoring of healing progress.
- Strong skills in patient assessment and triage to prioritize care needs and enhance patient outcomes.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and execute patient care plans by coordinating with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive education and care.
- Maintain accurate and timely records in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Administer medications effectively, while monitoring patients for reactions and progress.
- Provide prompt and effective response in emergency situations with use of Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) skills.
- Perform wound assessments and apply appropriate treatments to promote healing and prevent infection.
- Conduct initial patient assessments to determine care priorities and guide further actions.
- Collaborate effectively with medical staff to ensure high-quality, safe, and effective patient care.
- Participate in healthcare team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care strategies.
