An experienced Registered Nurse with Interventional Radiology expertise is needed to deliver exceptional nursing care within a Diagnostic Radiology Department in Hillsborough, NH. This contract position focuses on patient assessment, communication, and leadership across various imaging modalities including fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, mammography, and MRI. Key Responsibilities: Provide quality nursing care to adult-geriatric patients across both inpatient and outpatient radiology services Manage nursing duties during diagnostic and interventional radiological procedures with readiness to handle unexpected emergencies Develop and apply clinical protocols, policies, and procedures related to radiological interventions, patient monitoring, and medication administration Coordinate total nursing care and collaborate with ancillary staff to maintain high standards of professional nursing practice Educate patients and families, respecting patient rights and individual needs throughout care delivery Qualifications: Current RN licensure with a valid New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate (required for all nursing submissions) Proven experience in Interventional Radiology nursing, familiar with fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, and associated diagnostic procedures Strong clinical assessment skills, effective communication, and ability to lead nursing care in fast-paced environments Ability to work without block scheduling and accommodate minimal requested time off during the assignment Professionalism in adherence to dress code (traveler-provided scrubs without logos) and proficiency with Epic EMR system Location Insights:Hillsborough, NH, offers a welcoming community setting with easy access to cultural and outdoor activities.
