Registered Nurse with Infection Control experience. CIC -Certificate is Required Implements plans, develops, directs, and evaluates infection prevention within the facility. Investigates infection control problems and arranges follow-up care for residents exposed to infectious diseases. Responsible for surveillance, tracking, and reporting of infections and/or outbreaks. Conducts rounds, discussing and monitoring infection control practices with staff Collect infection data from departments and maintain records for each case. Trains staff onthe implementation of infection control practices.
