To provide quality patient care to paediatric patients and their families. 

Qualifications

  • Current Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • BCLS required at time of hire
  • Minimum 2-5 years recent Paediatric experience in an acute setting ( Inpatient unit or Emergency Dept.) required
  • PALS certificate an asset
  • NRP certification required within 6 months of hire
  • Related courses in paediatric nursing preferred
  • Venipuncture and therapy skills
  •  Demonstrated ability to work with families
  •  Breastfeeding certificate required an asset
  •  Must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize.
  •  Good team player.
  • Satisfactory employment and attendance record.
