Your Opportunity: The town of Peace River is nestled in the Peace River valley and serves as the cultural and economic hub of the Peace Region of northwestern Alberta. The town population is about 6,000 with a surrounding catchment of 10,000. Peace River offers education and a wide range of indoor and outdoor recreational activities. Join our dynamic rural emergency department where you will work closely with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to provide care for patients while following AHS values. Previous ER experience is preferred. You will care for patients from CTAS 1–5. This ER department is a stroke, cardiac and trauma center for the area. In addition to a competitive pay, AHS currently offers a Remote Retention Allowance with an annual maximum of $3,000. The allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay. Temporary accommodation and relocation may be considered.
