Primary Care Alberta is currently seeking a casual Public Health Nurse to join the team. As a Public Health Nurse, your role includes general public health nursing responsibilities; this encompasses immunizations in well-child clinics, adult clinics, schools, influenza, and other mass immunization programs and provides surveillance, follow-up and preventative management to the Communicable Disease Control program. This position includes maternal and child health services which provide strength-based anticipatory guidance, home & clinic visits, prenatal & postnatal programs, breastfeeding support, screening & referrals, and advocacy.
