Registered Nurse - Surgical Oncology (Acute Care)

Description Location: UCHealth UCHlth Anschutz Inpt Pavilion, US:CO:Aurora Department: Surgical Oncology FTE: Part Time, 0.6, 48.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Nights Pay: $35.29 - $54.71/hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience Minimum Requirements: Graduated from an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience. Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). At least 6 months of nursing (RN) experience. BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, with card in-hand before the start date. BLS or CPR card must remain valid for at least sixty days after hire. Contribute to patient safety and quality care at all times. Acute Care Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care in specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) Units with moderate to high patient acuity. Utilize AMSN's core curriculum and various specialty certification standards in evidence-based care models. Receive support from Clinical Educators for individualized specialty education and training throughout clinical orientation to validate competencies.
