Registered Practical Nurse Infusion Services

Praesentia Lifespan Bioscience is seeking a compassionate and skilled Casual Infusion Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our Windsor clinic. The successful candidate will work independently to safely administer intravenous iron therapy, vitamin therapies and support new infusion programs as the organization continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

· Independently administer intravenous iron therapy and other infusion therapies in accordance with physician orders

· Prepare and administer infusions, including pre-medications and PRN medications for infusion-related reactions

· Initiate and manage IV access with a high degree of proficiency

· Monitor patients throughout the infusion treatment, including flow rates, vital signs, and overall patient condition

· Have the knowledge, skill and judgment to independently manage infusion related reactions
