Job Description
The Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) in a retirement residence provides professional nursing care to residents and, where required, supervises the activities of Care Workers in accordance with the College of Nurses of Ontario Standard of Practice.
Responsibilities
- Apply clinical nursing skills to deliver high‑quality care and support daily needs of residents.
- Assess residents and implement individualized care plans.
- Supervise and guide Care Workers to meet resident requirements.
- Promote a positive, respectful environment for residents, families, and staff.
- Continuously develop professional knowledge and skills.
