The role

As an ASIC 3 Regulatory Assessment Analyst, you will assess and escalate misconduct matters, leading high quality analysis that strengthens ASIC's regulatory response. You will also:

  • Review and assess misconduct, breach and statutory reports, identifying key issues and contributing to appropriate regulatory responses.

  • Liaise with senior staff to support more complex inquiries and assessments.

  • Build your knowledge of legislative and regulatory frameworks to identify and escalate significant or high‑risk issues.

  • Draft assessments with clear recommendations and decisions.

  • Coordinate inquiries by gathering information from internal and external sources, including engaging with external parties where needed.

  • Conduct legal and regulatory research to inform recommendations and contribute to accurate, well‑supported assessments.
