The role
As an ASIC 4 Regulatory Assessment Analyst, you will apply regulatory judgement to assess and escalate complex misconduct matters, leading high quality analysis that strengthens ASIC's regulatory response. You will also:
Review and assess complex misconduct, breach and statutory reports, applying strong regulatory judgement to identify risks and appropriate responses.Use your technical knowledge of legislative and regulatory frameworks to identify and escalate significant or high‑risk issues.Draft complex assessments with well‑reasoned recommendations and decisions.Lead or assist in complex inquiries, coordinating information gathering, engaging external parties, and exercising ASIC's compulsory powers where required.Conduct complex legal and regulatory research, synthesising insights into high‑quality recommendations under the Corporations Act, ASIC Act and related legislation.
