Regulatory Business Analyst

Description

A leading global financial institution is seeking a Business Analyst to join its Global Markets technology team supporting Rates, FX, and Credit trading businesses. This role bridges the gap between front-office users, compliance, and development teams, driving delivery of trading and regulatory solutions in a fast-paced environment.

The analyst will gather business requirements, define user stories, design workflows and mockups, coordinate testing, and provide functional support for trading and regulatory applications.

What You’ll Tackle

• Partner with traders, operations, and compliance to gather and formalize business needs.

• Translate requirements into actionable user stories and documentation.

• Coordinate with developers across regions to implement system enhancements.

• Define and execute test plans and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Provide Level 2 functional support and manage issue resolution.

• Maintain documentation and knowledge base content.

• Contribute to ongoing process improvement within the Agile framework.

What You Bring

• 5+ years in IT business analysis within financial markets.

• Strong knowledge of FX and Fixed Income trading workflows, including Bonds and Interest Rate Swaps.

• Experience with TRACE reporting and Broker-Dealer regulatory frameworks.

• Solid understanding of front-office systems and trade lifecycle.

• Skilled in requirement documentation, user stories, and test case creation.

• Familiar with Agile, Jira, and Confluence.

• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

• Experience with ION trading platforms.

• Familiarity with Structured Products, Equity Options, or Repo.

• Basic proficiency in SQL, Python, or C#.
