About the role

As a Regulatory Reporting Specialist, you’ll be a subject matter expert accountable for the delivery of the regulatory reporting obligations for Member Operations, you will manage incoming and outgoing Reporting to the ATO, ASIC, APRA and Centrelink, fostering good working relationships with these external bodies. You will leverage your in-depth knowledge and experience in regulatory reporting requirements for superannuation products and use a variety of applications to deliver on these obligations.


You’ll work closely with internal and external stakeholders, analyse legislative and system changes, and ensure reporting is delivered accurately, on time and in line with governance and compliance requirements. Day to day, you'll:

  • Lead the delivery of regulatory reporting and key event obligations within legislated timeframes
  • Manage inbound and outbound regulatory reporting across ATO, ASIC, APRA and Centrelink
  • Act as the subject matter expert for superannuation regulatory reporting obligations
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external regulators
  • Identify data integrity, legislative, system and process issues, conducting root‑cause analysis and implementing solutions
  • Analyse and recommend changes to internal and external reporting processes to improve compliance and efficiency
  • Identify and manage incidents and breaches within the regulatory reporting function
  • Oversee internal and external audits related to regulatory reporting
  • Provide training, technical guidance and coaching to team members and the wider business
  • Act as the first point of escalation for complex regulatory reporting issues
  • This role is available as both a permanent and max term/ secondment opportunity.
