This contract position is based in the Concord, NH area, offering a dynamic environment focused on patient recovery and comprehensive care. Key Qualifications and Experience: Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in rehabilitation and medical-surgical nursing IV therapy proficiency is essential Preferred skills include wound care, stroke, and traumatic brain injury (TBI) knowledge Current BLS certification is required A flexible, kind, and thorough approach to patient care Location and Unit Overview:This position is set in an inpatient rehab unit featuring 19 beds and a dedicated staff-to-patient ratio that typically maintains 6:1 for quality care. The work environment is equipped with advanced mechanical lifts, SARA steady devices, and infusion pumps (Baxter and Kangaroo), supporting diverse patient needs. The electronic medical records system utilized is Meditech, facilitating accurate and efficient clinical documentation. Staff is generally organized with a charge nurse, RNs, CNAs, and sitters covering day and night shifts to ensure well-rounded patient care.
