Relay Test Technician

Talen Energy is seeking a Relay Test Technician for the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station (SSES). Provides the expertise to perform complex, intricate work activities within the Relay Test department with limited supervision. This includes, but is not limited to, performing surveillance tests, routine and emergency maintenance, calibrations, troubleshooting, modifications, and inspections of nuclear plant protection relays, alarms, and control circuitry systems. Conducts pre-and post-job briefs and ensures work is completed with high quality. Notifies the appropriate supervisory personnel of conditions outside normal.

+ Installs, tests, calibrates, maintains, diagnoses and remedies improper performance of equipment and systems used for protection, data acquisition, monitoring and control of generating station electrical equipment.
