Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Provide end to end release management for the Simplification Program, including cloud migrations.
- Develop and communicate release forecasts, proactively identify impediments, and escalate issues to senior stakeholders.
- Plan and prioritize releases in alignment with cross domain/platform release train schedules.
- Create and present implementation plans and change records to CAB/BRB for approvals.
- Lead coordination and execution of release activities including TVT, BVT, issue resolution, and hyper care support.
- Manage change communications, articulating progress and issues to stakeholders throughout the release cycle.
- Mentor and coach squads on best practices in release and change management, applying the ANZ Delivery Framework (ADF).
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in technical release management for complex initiatives.
- Strong background in Application/Platform migrations; Cloud/VMware migration experience is an advantage.
- Proven expertise in Release, Change, and Incident Management across cross functional teams.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Experience in prioritizing and managing project backlogs, identifying dependencies, and mitigating risks.
- Hands on experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, ServiceNow.
- Agile/Scrum certification or equivalent experience in iterative release delivery.
- Ability to understand technology principles and tools to coordinate complex interdependencies.
- Strong communication skills to build trust and confidence with stakeholders and customers.
