Job Description

+ Job Title: Reliability Engineer

Develop and improve next‑generation thermal spray inspection and testing methods to boost product quality.

+ Implement and lead a digital monitoring system for quality assurance and preventative maintenance.

+ Integrate sensors, IoT devices, and analytics into production lines for real‑time performance insights.

+ Conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions that keep manufacturing running smoothly.

+ Train production teams on new technologies and update manufacturing instructions as required.

+ Partner closely with Production, R&D, IT, and Maintenance to drive continuous improvement.

+ Roll out best practices and inspection methods across the Siemens Energy network.

What You Bring

+ BS in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering (or related field) and 5 years of relevant experience.

+ Experience with HVOF or APS coating processes; knowledge of Robot Studio or offline programming is a plus.

+ Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and diagnosing control‑system issues.

+ Knowledge of mechanical testing, metallurgical evaluation, and ceramic/inorganic non‑metallic materials.

+ Professional experience in quality assurance; related certifications are a bonus.

+ Familiarity with Lean and/or Six Sigma philosophies.

+ Analytical, collaborative, and comfortable with interdisciplinary teams and occasional off‑shifts.

+ Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $71000.00 - $118000.00/yr.
