Anglo American Steelmaking Coal Steelmaking coal is an essential ingredient in blast-furnace steel manufacture, producing steel used for critical building and infrastructure around the world.
We are looking for a data driven Reliability Engineer to join the team at our Aquila mine site in Middlemount, QLD. Aquila Mine is an underground hard coking coal mine, which will extend the life of Anglo American’s existing Capcoal underground operations til 2030. As the largest underground coal miner in Australia, we are leveraging the innovative work already under way at our existing mine sites and scaling the development of new technologies in our operations. The Reliability Engineer monitors maintenance systems and standards in order for the Engineering and Maintenance Department to predictably deliver and sustain the required asset performance and cost objectives.
