**Description**
The Environmental Services (ENS) team at Burns & McDonnell India (BMI) supports the US offices in air quality services, environmental services, remediation services, environmental engineering, and natural and cultural resources services.
The BMI ENS team seeks a well-rounded, driven engineer to join the remediation team and support various projects. The role will involve data validation, report preparation, borehole logging, and Phase 1/ Phase 2 reporting.
**Key Responsibilities**
·Data Validation and Quality Assurance
* Validate analytical data for soil, air, surface water, sediment, and groundwater.
* Review laboratory submissions to ensure proper login, analysis, and compliance with project requirements.
·Data Management
* Maintain and update site-specific analytical databases.
* Compile and organize analytical results for soil, air, and groundwater monitoring.
·Environmental Assessment and Planning
* Assess soil and groundwater data to support remediation action plans.
* Develop soil and groundwater sampling strategies aligned with project objectives.
·Technical Writing and Reporting
* Prepare proposals and technical reports for environmental projects.
* Document findings and recommendations in accordance with regulatory and project standards.
·Foundational Knowledge
* Apply understanding of soils, subsurface structures, groundwater movement, and environmental contaminants to project tasks.
* Solid understanding of bore logs, including subsurface data analysis and application to geotechnical/environmental projects.
·General Duties
* Perform all assigned tasks with accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail.
* Collaborate with project teams to ensure environmental compliance and successful project delivery.
**Qualifications**
·Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Geology or Environmental Engineering
·Proficient in data analysis and interpretation
·Strong command of Microsoft Excel and Word for data management and reporting
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills
·High level of attention to detail in technical documentation and project deliverables .
**Added Qualifications**
·US work experience and education
·Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
·Knowledge of EQuIS, AutoCAD/Civil 3D, ArcGIS Pro .
