REMOTE- Senior Manager- Application Development

Job Description

An employer is looking for a Senior Manager of Application Development to sit remotely. You will primarily be tasked with leading a development/ production support team tied to a portfolio of enterprise applications. These applications vary in function but are related to vehicle maintenance, procurement, sales, etc. You will lead related projects for these applications related to modernization and enhancements. You will also oversee day to day development efforts and manage onshore, nearshore and offshore vendors that provide development and production support efforts. In addition, you will also act as a point of escalation for any related outages, production issues, or upgrades. Additional tasks will include executive stakeholder management on the business and technical side, mentoring junior engineers, hiring/ developing your team members, and architectural oversight for related applications/ processes.
