Removals Forklift Driver

We're looking for enthusiastic and experienced Forklift Drivers to join our clients busy and growing international removals team in Thurrock.

As Removals Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining all aspects of the warehouse facility and operating forklift equipment involved in providing an efficient and effective warehouse services in relation to their business of moving customers household/ personal possessions.

Removals Forklift Driver duties include:

• Managing the checking in and out of goods
• Moving and unloading storage containers (manual handing)
• Providing assistance to the HGV Drivers and Porters in the moving and handling of customer goods when required
• Operating the forklift and physically lifting (aided and unaided) onto vehicles or into location
• Completing the necessary paperwork
• Undertake forklift safety checks and report any defects.
