TITAN Cement Group is looking for a high-caliber professional to join our Group Procurement team, as Group Procurement Reporting and Controlling Manager .

The job holder will be supporting Group Procurement to report and control performance, run Group spend analyses, track key metrics through Management Information Systems and support relevant projects. The role will maintain and enhance the common systematic approach with a defined toolkit for use by business leaders.
The position holder will be supported by dedicated analyst(s), building core competence within the team. 


The position is based in Athens, Greece .

 The role is required to:
• Lead Group Procurement Reporting and Controlling: co-define with the unit’s top management the main performance metrics/KPIs, establish the methodology to collect the relevant data and calculate the Procurement metrics 
• Drive problem solving and team interactions to identify areas for the creation or enhancement of Group Procurement reporting and controlling processes and set the vision on these topics
• Be responsible for the periodic process of Budget/RP# input by Group Procurement towards the Regions/BUs
• Oversee the periodic Group Spend Analysis and represent/lead Group Procurement in the Local Spend Analysis
• Synthesize the analyses’ results and identify main insights/implications; iterate models running sensitivities and complex multi-variate scenarios
• Develop analytical methods/techniques and perform analytical tasks that require complex problem solving and business judgement
• Drive the Group Procurement Management Information System and propose/design new features based on future reporting requirements of the function
• Produce several regular monthly reports or ad-hoc executive one’s, providing support to various function’s initiatives
• Act as a project manager for the delivery of Group Procurement projects on an ad-hoc basis
• Build excellent relationships at all levels within the organization, establishing a vibrant collective culture of collaboration and ensuring effective communication to all stakeholders in terms of delivery objectives, timescales etc.

What you will bring along:
• Studies at a postgraduate level preferably in engineering, business/management. Postgraduate degree in a STEM subject can also be considered.
• Approximately 7+ years of working experience within a corporate procurement/controlling department of a multinational company (preferably with experience in international assignments) 
• Fluency in English is a pre-requisite (incl. proven experience of working in an English-speaking environment)
• Proven experience in analysis, reporting and controlling, incl. spend analyses, preparation of management/procurement reports, use of Management Information Systems, design and development of key performance metrics
• Reporting systems experience, in SAP, BW, etc. and use of such platforms to prepare reporting dashboards/MIS
• Experience in managing complex initiatives and supporting top management, as a project manager or core team member

Skills critical for optimal performance in the role: 
• Procurement management, including spend analyses, preparation of procurement reports, business cases and reporting systems/MIS
• Understanding the basics of procurement in an industrial environment
• Quantitative skills, in advanced excel analytical tools and in reporting/business analytics software packages
• Advanced problem-solving and communication skills, both written and oral 
• Planning and project management skills 
• Collaborative skills, teamwork and previous demonstrated ability to lead a team of analyst(s) ; acting as mentor to their professional development
